La Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos-CNDDHH, presentó el día de hoy el Informe Técnico sobre el Reglamento de la Ley de Consulta Previa, elaborado por el Grupo sobre Pueblos Indígenas de la CNDDHH.
El evento contó con un panel conformado por el congresista Eduardo Nayap, representante del Viceministerio de Interculturalidad del Ministerio de Cultura, Rocío Silva Santisteban, secretaria ejecutiva de la CNDDHH y Cecilia Serpa, coordinadora del Grupo de Trabajo sobre Pueblos Indígenas de la CNDDHH.
El informe ofrece una mirada general sobre el contexto en el que se promulgó la Ley de Consulta Previa y en el que se debatió el contenido del reglamento respectivo. Asimismo, hay un análisis minucioso de los acuerdos no respetados, de los textos introducidos sin consulta y de artículos cuyo contenido es controversial por incumplir los estándares nacionales e internacionales de respeto de los derechos de los pueblos indígenas en el Perú.
El Grupo de Trabajo de Pueblos Indígenas de la Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos, espera, sobre todo, que puedan corregirse los errores en la presente reglamentación para que no se vacíe de contenido al derecho a la consulta previa, nuestro interés permanente es que puedan generarse procesos reales de diálogo intercultural y no procesos que terminen siendo un mero trámite administrativo.
